Obituary of Ethel May Kenny

On February 14, 2023, Ethel May Kenny of Treasure Island, Florida passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Ethel was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dennis Patrick Kenny of 74 years.

Born on November 15, 1928, daughter to Ethel Susanna (Tienken) and Edward James Hilbig.  Ethel grew up in Greenpoint Brooklyn, New York where she met and married her childhood sweetheart.  Ethel and Dennis moved to Treasure Island, Florida in 1986 where they enjoyed a happy retirement.

In addition to her husband and parents, Ethel was preceded in death by her brother, William and sisters, Mary Feith and Helen Martin. Survived by her daughters, Patricia A. Licht and her husband, Robert and Kathleen Wroblewski and her husband, Philip. Sisters Marion Feith and Dorothy Mattern.  Grandchildren, Keith, Kristina (Jared), Eric (Amanda), Denise and Laura, great-grandchildren, Zosia Patricia, Osh, Ethelina Jean, Nora Lynn, Annagayle Kate and Lyanna Rose.
