Dear Aunt Ethel, thank you for all the good memories throughout the years. My favorites were the get togethers at your house when I was little. We always had so much fun together. I’ll miss you. It’s comforting knowing you are at peace and reunited again with Uncle Dennis. Say hello to my Mom and Dad for me and all our other family members. Love, Kathy

Dear Aunt Ethel
Condolences to all the family. I always look back at all the good times growing up in Greenpoint and smile, so many good times fond memories. And the get togethers around here. You were always happy and smiling. Will miss you very much, but comforted knowing you are with God and reunited with Uncle Dennis and all the rest of the family who are gone. Love Richard.

To our Dear Mom:
We love you and miss you but know you are where you wanted to be – HOME. Home with the love of your life and sweetheart of 74 years.
You were the nicest, kindest person we have ever known. We never heard you say a harsh word about anyone. You were always able to strike up a conversation with anyone and always found common ground. You had the gift of gab. You loved your family unconditionally and for that we thank you.
I thank you for giving us a wonderful childhood. For sacrificing everything you did to send us to 12 years of Catholic School and for me the braces on my teeth. As dad you to say “give me that thousand-dollar smile”, which at that time was a lot of money.
Phil and I enjoyed each and every trip we took with you and dad. It’s a special bond when you can share the same interest and experiences with your parents and love every minute. To be able to sit and talk for hours about nothing.
Your grandchildren were a big part of your lives. You were a great role model and they loved you dearly. They grew up reciting all the proverbs you taught them: A stitch in time saves nine, many hands make light work, Empty kettles make the most noise, and their favorite, you can always come back for more.
Our only regret is not having more time to share our lives with you both.
Until we meet again,
Love you,
Kathleen and Philip

I'll always remember the good times when Aunt Ethel and Uncle Dennis lived in Greenpoint and I would go with mom to their house and we sit in the yard and Uncle Dennis or Aunt Ethel would make Tom Collins and me being so young they make me a Virgin Tom Collins but put it in the same type of glass like the adults and give me 2 cherries to make me feel special.
Love you both and will miss you.
