Obituary of Ellen Jo Glassman

Glassman- Ellen Jo 57 of Seminole, formerly of St. Petersburg passed away July 7, 2007 at Bayfront Medical Center. A native of St. Petersburg, Ellen served for 35 years on the Florida staff of US Representative C.W. "Bill" Young, and was a member of Congregation B'nai Israel in St. Petersburg. Survivors include her father Leon Glassman, a resident of Menorah Manor in St. Petersburg and two cousins Rita Thomas and Judy Kaye both of St. Petersburg. A graveside service will be held Tuesday July 10, 2007 at 10AM at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, 12905 Wild Acres Road ( off Ulmerton Road between Starkey and Belcher) Largo Florida. Rabbi Jacob Luski will officiate. Memorials, in lieu of flowers are suggested to the Armed Forces Foundation, 16 North Carolina Ave S.E., Washington DC 20003; the National Bone Marrow Donor Foundation, 400 7th St. N.W., Suite 206, Washington DC or Congregation B'nai Israel, 300 58th Street N., St. Petersburg FL 33710.
