Obituary of Manfred Greenbaum
Manfred Greenbaum, 93, Jewish, of St. Petersburg, passed away Sept. 9, 2008 at Morton Plant Rehab Center in Belleair. He was born in Germany, moved to New York City in 1937 as a Holocaust survivor. In New York, he worked as a butcher. Manfred and his late wife Greta moved to St. Petersburg in 1982. They were active former members of Congregation Beth Sholom in Gulfport. Survivors include daughter Susan Farley and grandson Michael Farley. Manfred's and Greta's son Steven passed away in 1975.
Funeral service will be 2 PM on Friday (Sept. 12) at the Beth David Chapel on Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, with Rabbi Israel Dvorkin officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Largo.
