Ted Kay of Seminole, FL. passed away June 14, 2023 at the age of 74. Born November 17, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan to David and Saree Kay (Kozofsky). Ted married Susan (nee Smith) April 11, 1981. Ted has three children Alexis Kay Myers (Charles), Steven (Kristin) and Darren (Adrienne), two brothers Alan, Howard, grandchildren Parker, Matthew, Cole, and Jackson and is predeceased by his sister Barbara Kay-Balcer.

Ted completed his Bachelor in Science Degree at University of South Florida in Tampa and then joined the family owned business, Kay Builders, a notable home builder in Pinellas County during the 1970’s and early 1980’s
