Obituary of Teresa Williams

Teresa (Teri) Cathleen Williams (Meyer) 3/15/58 – 11/25/21

 

Teri, born March 15, 1958, in Englewood, New Jersey, passed away November 25, 2021, in St. Petersburg, Florida. Teri was preceded in death by her mother Mary Virginia Meyer, her father Chapman G. Meyer and her ex-husband Eamonn T. Williams. Teri is survived by her mother Mary Ann Meyer, and siblings: Ted (Linda) Meyer, Peggy Hyde (Brent, deceased), Robyn Lindley, Jackie (Eric) Johnson and Joe (Karen) Meyer. Teri also had nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, many cousins, friends and co-workers, who will miss her. 

 

Teri worked 40 years as a pediatric nurse, the last 30 years at St. Louis Children’s hospital (BJC). She loved to play cards and was very competitive. One of her favorite times to play was at family reunions with her siblings and cousins, she would also teach her nieces and nephews to play along the way! Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she loved to bake Christmas cookies with her sisters and nieces every year. Teri was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. She also was in one of her happy places when visiting St. Petersburg, Florida. The sun, sand and sea always made her smile. 

 

Teri had a beautiful soul who loved her family and friends, she was fun-loving, kind, generous and fiercely loyal. We will miss you Teri and know you are now at peace.  Glad to have you and Dad watching over us. We love you Teri! 

 

In lieu of flowers Donations can be sent in her name to St Louis Children’s Hospital.
