Obituary of Dianne G. Hofmann

Dianne Griffith Hofmann, 75 passed away on April 18, 2021.

Dianne was born in Panama City, FL, and grew up in Tampa. She was a graduate of Plant High School Class of 1963, where she was Head Majorette. After high school, she attended the University of Maine.

 

Dianne was married to her devoted husband Peter for 53 years, and was the most loving mother to her daughter, Dawn.

 

She obtained her real estate license in 1976, and worked as a realtor in Plymouth, MA until 1988, when she returned to Florida, and worked for Coldwell Banker in St Pete Beach until retirement. She took pride in finding the perfect home for many families during the course of her career.

 

Dianne also committed much of her time to volunteer work at Ronald McDonald House Charities in St. Petersburg and Honor Flight of West Central FL.

 

Dianne's favorite things were spending summers on Cape Cod with her husband, walking on Pass-a-Grille Beach and spending time with her daughter. She was very outgoing, and always the life of any social gathering. Her light will be missed by her family and many friends.

 

Dianne is survived by her husband Peter of Gulfport, FL, daughter Dawn (David Riker) of Gulfport, FL, sister BJ Gerald (Lynn, d. 2018) of Alva, FL, brother William E Griffith II (Marta) of Melbourne, FL, sister Victoria Benchimol (Rick) of Tampa, FL, niece Kaitlin Benchimol Rodriguez (Chris) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and nephews Bill Griffith of Gainesville, FL and Bobby Griffith of St. Petersburg, FL.

 

Peter and Dawn request in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Suncoast Hospice. Services will be private for family.

The care of Mrs. Hofmann and her family has been entrusted to David C. Gross Funeral Home in St. Petersburg.
