Fun memories of Janet. I usually called her, Langenegger, we were friends at Northwestern High School. Always was amazed her name embroidered on the back of her gym suit fit.
I was so excited when Janet and Darryl showed up at our 45th class reunion. Condolences to her family.

A fond memory that I share with my wife, Lori, is the wonder of Christmas. Mom/Janet went out of her way to make the occasion joyous and beautiful. This would include the beautiful decorations, baking of many types of festive cookies, and her spirit. She shared her love of the holiday with our sons and her Christmas traditions live on with our family, and their growing families. You are missed, but your love will always remain.

Janet entered Darryl's life at a time when he really needed her. And she enriched his life, and that of their two daughters, with love, happiness, and caring. The obituary is perfect -- yes, her assignments here on Earth were accomplished with aplomb, and she can now turn her attention to her final assignment. We are sending blessings to the entire family. Very Sincerely, Cary and Nancy Thomas, Carlsbad, California

I would see her everyday, twice a day when Stacy was a baby until she went to school and then I would have to wait until summer came around to Stacy again on a daily basis. I remember whenever I would stay over with Stacy she would always make me my favorite dish “Swedish Meatballs” they were so good. Swimming in the pool and working on my tan like Miss Janet but I would get a sunburned belly which she took care of with cocoa butter. I would later share rides with her while working with her at “Great Oaks” during the summer. She even helped convince me to move to Florida raving about how “Blue the sky was in Florida “. We ended up in St Augustine, Florida. So many memories and all were so great.
