My first real exposure to "Computer Magic" was when i saw Mickey do 4 years of manual labor (my forte at the time LOL) in the blink of an eye converting hundreds of batch Honeywell COBOL IDS-2 programs to become batch IBM COBOL DB2 programs. Talk about the minimal path! Mickey gave me the courage to grow and become a computer consultant / contractor instead of working for a company as an employee. We worked together on many projects most generally assisting IBM. Mickey always made the time to help others. Mickey could always find a way to automate just about anything minimizing the effort. The knowledge he shared with others about Rexx and the IBM mainframe editor ISREDIT were priceless gifts. Mickey will be missed by many... Mickey lives on in the many life's he has touched, changed, and made better...
