Obituary of George H. Aghassi

Aghassi- George H. 93 of St. Petersburg passed away Friday February 18, 2005 at Hospice House Woodside, Pinellas Park. He came here in the 1920's from his native Iraq, and brought his family here in the 1940's to establish them in business. He was the owner of Harvey's Fabrics in St. Petersburg, and was a member of Temple Beth-El. Survivors include his wife Sheila; a son Richard of Clearwater and two grandchildren Alyse Aghassi of Spartenburg South Carolina and Alana Aghassi of Tallahassee. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel, is serving the Aghassi family. Funeral services will take place Monday, February 21 2005 at 11AM in the Beth David Chapel of David C. Gross Funeral Homes, 6366 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg with Rabbi Michael Torop, officiating. Burial will follow in Royal Palm Cemetery South. Service Information
