Obituary of Edward M. Mandel

Mandel- Edward M. 86 of Seminole passed away Monday March 7, 2005 at Whispering Oaks of Tampa. Born in New York City, he came here in 1991 from Bayside Queens New York. He was the former owner and operator of Pedishu Children's Shoe Stores in Massapiqua, Hewlett and Queens New York. He was a former member of the Lions. Survivors include his wife of 59 years Rosalind Frances "Rose"; four daughters Susan Fingerman of Ellicott City MD; Sharri Mandel of Bayside New York; Nina Wachsman of Westbury New York and Melissa Kegler of Largo; two sisters Eleanor Saltz of Michigan and Evelyn Solomon of Weston FL and five grandchildren. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel, St. Petersburg is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will take place Thursday March 10, 2005 at 11AM in the Beth David Chapel of David C. Gross Funeral Homes, 6366 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg with Rabbi Arthur Baseman officiating. Private burial will be at Bay Pines National Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:30AM through service time. Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, suggested to the Alzheimer's Association. Service Information
