Obituary of Harold Rome

Rome- Harold 77 of Treasure Island passed away Thursday March 10, 2005 at Freedom Square Nursing Center, Seminole. Born in New York City, he came here in 1958 from Wilmington Delaware. He was the owner and operator of Atlas Auto in St. Petersburg from 1958 until 1985. He was a former member of the Treasure Island Tennis and Yacht Club and was an avid boater. Survivors include his wife Paula; a son Mitchell Rome and a daughter Jill Rome both of St. Petersburg; a brother Bernard Rome of Newport Beach California; a step-son Ben Perri and a step-daughter Traci Nagel both of St. Petersburg and six grandchildren. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel, St. Petersburg is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be 11AM Monday, March 14, 2005 at David C. Gross Funeral Home Chapel, 6366 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg with Rabbi Arthur Baseman, officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Largo. The family suggests memorials, in lieu of flowers, to the Alzheimer's Association. Service Information
