Obituary of Terry Perlman

PERLMAN - Terry, age 75, of Palm Harbor, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2005 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater. Born in New York City, she moved to Florida in 1987 in Blauvelt, New York. She was a graduate of Lehman College in the Bronx, Phi Beta Kappa, where she also earned her Master's degree in History. She was a high school social studies and business teacher in the Pearl River school system in Pearl River, New York. She was elected to the National History Honor Society and was a lifetime member of Phi Beta Kappa. She also was a lifetime member of Hadassah and Brandeis and was a member of Congregation Beth Shalom in Clearwater. She was the producer of Shalom Tampa Bay on public television. Survivors include her husband of fifty-six years, Jack; one son, Arthur of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; one daughter, Susan Perlman of New York City and three step-grandchildren, Ryan Nelson, Chelsea Nelson and Travis Nelson, all of Pennsylvania. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel, St. Petersburg, is in charge of arrangements. Graveside Services will be 2 PM Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater with Rabbi David Weizman officiating. The family suggests memorial donations, in lieu of flowers be made to the Arthritis Foundation. Service Information
