Obituary of Doris R. Comstock

COMSTOCK, Doris R., 91 of Pinellas Park. Died Friday, March 18, 2005 at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute. Born in New York City, She came here in 1976 from Franklin Square, Long Island. She was a high school teacher for the New York City School System. She was a graduate of Hunter College in New York City. She received her Master's Degree form Columbia University and completed her doctoral studies at New York University, both in New York City. She was a Docent at the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts. She was a member of the Pinellas Park Art Society and the St. Petersburg Garden Club. Survivors include two sons, C. Christopher Comstock, St. Petersburg and Herbert R. Comstock, Overland Park, KS; daughter, Claire See, Venice; six grandchildren. David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, 6366 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial Service will be 3 PM on Sunday, March 20, 2005 at the Central Avenue Chapel. Friends will be received from 1:30 PM until service time.
