Obituary of Anzel Borentin

BORENTIN - Anzel, age 97, of Gulfport, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2005 at Menorah Manor in St. Petersburg. Born in Radom, Poland, he came to Florida in 2004 from Brooklyn, New York where he was an owner of an upholstery business. He was a Holocaust survivor and was a singer and actor in theatre in Lancry, Paris. Survivors include one daughter, Betty Borentin Goldberg of Gulfport, one granddaughter, Renee Arnold of Manhattan and one great-grandson, Marc Arnold of Manhattan. Memorial services to be held 9:30 A.M. Thursday, May 12, 2005 at David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel, 6366 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, Florida with Rabbi Michael Torop officiating. The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Holocaust Museum, 55 5th Street South, St. Petersburg, Florida 33701. David C.
