Obituary of John Flynn

FLYNN - John P., age 88, of Treasure Island, died Friday, July 15, 2005 at Palms of Pasadena Hospital in South Pasadena. He came to Florida several years ago from his native Chicago, Illinois where he retired as the Chicago Transit Authority Superintendent at the Congress/Douglas terminals after forty-two years of service. He was in the US Army having served in WW II. Survivors include one son, John; two daughters, Patricia Flynn and Mary Ellen Framke; one brother, Charles Flynn; two sisters, Marie Sullivan and Sister Margaret Mary, BVM; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services and burial were held in Hillside, Illinois with interment at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. The family suggests memorial donations in lieu of flowers be made to Misericordia Heart of Mercy, 6300 North Ridge Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60660. David C.
