Obituary of Vivian Earsell Bailey

BAILEY - Vivian Earsell, age 85, of St. Petersburg, passed away Friday, August 19, 2005 at St. Anthony's Hospital. Born in Hoke County, North Carolina, she came to Florida in 1995 from Southern Pines, North Carolina. She earned her bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from St. Andrew's College in Laurinburg, North Carolina and was a private duty housekeeper. She was a member of Unity Temple of Truth in St. Petersburg. Survivors include her husband of seventeen years, Arthur; four sons, Joseph and Robert Cauthen, both of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Francis and Jose Cauthen, both of Grennsboro, North Carolina; five daughters, Myrtle Martin of Park Forest, Illinois, Minister Helen Terry, Rebecca Rogers and Carrie Cauthen, all of Greensboro, North Carolina and Jasia Dowd of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren. Services and burial will take place in Graham, North Carolina David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, Central Avenue Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family.
