Obituary of George Robert Hillyer

HILLYER, George Robert, 83 of St. Petersburg. Died Monday, August 29, 2005 at his residence. Born in Oak Park, Illinois, he came here in 1970 from Chicago. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a metal man for auto body shops for 35 years in both Chicago and St. Petersburg. Survivors include two sons, Robert F. Trnka, Gulfport, Kenneth J. Trnka, St. Petersburg; sister, Grace Marott, Chicago; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren. David C. Gross Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6366 Central Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, is serving the family. Funeral Service will be 9:30 AM Friday September 2, 2005 at the Central Avenue Chapel. Private interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Service Information
