Obituary of Ernest Charles Fortier
Fortier- Ernest C. 85 of St. Petersburg passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at St. Anthonys Hospital under the care of Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. Born in Dorchester Massachusetts, he came here in 1952 from Pembroke Massachusetts. He served in the Navy with the Sea Bees Battalion #128 during World War II. He was owner of Ernie Fortier Pumps and Wells in St. Petersburg. He was a member of American Legion Post #14, St. Petersburg. Survivors include his wife Bernadette; two sons Paul of St. Petersburg and David; a daughter Kathleen Fortier of St. Petersburg; one grandchild and four great grandchildren.
David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, Central Avenue Chapel, is serving the family.
A memorial service will take place 3PM Friday, September 16, 2005 in the David C. Gross Funeral Home Chapel.
