Obituary of Betty Keshen

KESHEN, Betty Abeles, 91 of Palm Harbor. Died Saturday, September 24, 2005 at Manor Care of Palm Harbor. Born in Newark, New Jersey, she came to Coconut Creek, FL. in 1983 from Maplewood, NJ, and to Palm Harbor in 2001. She was printing consultant for 55 years in her family business, Beacon Hill Company of Springfield, New Jersey, retiring in 1976. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Rutgers University. She was past president of both City of Hope Alzheimer's Association and Women's League for Israel (honored as "Woman of the Year") all in Coconut Creek. She was a member of Congregation Oheb Shalom, South Orange, NJ. She was a member of Rutgers Alumni Association. She was a member of Hadassah and National Council of Jewish Women, in both Essex County, NJ. and Florida. Survivors include two daughters, Joan Felser, Clearwater and Judith Cohen, Union, NJ; three grandsons, Howard Cohen, Barneget, NJ., Mark Felser, Palm Harbor, Randy Felser, Orlando. There will be no local services. Burial will be in Oheb Shalom Cemetery, Hillside, New Jersey. Memorial Donations may be made to Abeles - Keshen Prayer Book Fund at Congregation Oheb Shalom, South Orange, New Jersey. David C.
