Obituary of John Joseph Cummings

CUMMINGS, John "Jack" Joseph, 77 of Gulfport. Died Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at Palms of Pasadena Hospital. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he came here in the 1990's from Savannah, Georgia. He served in the Navy during World War II. He received a Bachelors Degree in psychology. He sold window shades for 27 years in Altoona, PA. He was owner of both a Burger King in Savannah for 10 years and West Coast Video in St. Petersburg. He was a bus driver for PARC. He was a member of Most Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Gulfport and a volunteer church bus driver. Survivors include his wife, Helen; son, Bruce, San Diego, CA; daughter, Karen Williams, Arnold, MD; three grandchildren. David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, 6366 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg is serving the family. A memorial service will be 7 PM on Saturday, November 5, 2005 at Most Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 5800 15th Avenue South in Gulfport. Service Information
