Obituary of W. Scott Cole

Cole- W. Scott 89 of Pinellas Park passed away Wednesday November 2, 2005 at Crystal Oaks Nursing Home, Pinellas Park. He came here in 1920 from his native Jefferson County Ohio. He was a graduate of St. Petersburg High School and was a retired letter carrier for the United States Postal Service, St. Petersburg Main Post Office. He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers and participated on it's bike team; the Gulfport Senior Citizens Harmonica Club and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Survivors include a son Scott Cole Jr of Carlisle MA; a daughter Joycene Harwood of Parrish FL; a sister Betty Sawyer of Dunedin; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, Central Avenue Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. Funeral services will be 2PM Monday, November 7, 2005 in the DAVID C. GROSS FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, with Rev. C. Curtis Hess, officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
