Obituary of Sadie Nahmias

Nahmias- Sadie 97 of Gulfport passed away Monday November 14, 2005 at Menorah Manor, St. Petersburg. Born in Urla, Turkey she came here in 1985 from Fort Lauderdale, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Congregation Beth Sholom of Gulfport and was a life member of Hadassah. She enjoyed baking, singing, sewing and playing cards. She spoke seven languages. Survivors include four daughters, Zelda Becker of Rochester New York, Joanne Greenberg of Redington Shores, Molly Kauffman of Treasure Island and Dianne Krasnow of San Diego California; a sister Rose Mayo of Cedarhurst New York; thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. Funeral services will be 10AM Thursday, November 17, 2005 in the Beth David Chapel of David C. Gross Funeral Homes with Rabbi Gabriel Ben-Or, officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Largo. Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, are suggested to Menorah Manor or Hospice. Service Information
