Obituary of Harold A. Masset

MASSET - Harold A., 83, of Madeira Beach, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2005 at Oak Manor Nursing Center in Largo. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he came to Florida in 1955 from Long Island. He was a graduate of Kings Point Academy in New York prior to serving in the Merchant Marines during WW II. He then worked as a seaman for the Military Sea Transport Service for thirty years. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, St. Pete Beach. Survivors include his son, Dennis (Lorrie) Masset, of Largo; his daughter, Christine (Kenny) Phillips of Madeira Beach and three grandchildren, Nick, Danielle and Brian. Mr. Masset was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia and his grandson, Jimmy Phillips. Funeral services will be 2PM Friday, December 16, 2005 in the David C. Gross Funeral Home Chapel, where family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, St. Petersburg. David C.
