Obituary of Davida Merel Luttenberg

Luttenberg- Davida Merel 64 of St. Petersburg passed away Tuesday December 13, 2005 at Bayfront Medical Center. Born in Bronx New York, she came here in August from Delray Beach. She was a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and was training to be a Hospice counselor. She was a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the Sierra Club, NOW, and was active in local progressive politics. She studied Jewish spirituality and mysticism. An avid bicyclist, she was a member of the Boca Raton Cycling club. Survivors include her husband of 43 years Eugene; a son Randall of St. Petersburg; a daughter Danielle Meitiv of Boston; a brother Laurence Letich of New Market MD; a sister Judith Kaplan of Maitland FL; and two grandchildren Isaac Luttenberg and Raphael Meitiv. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. Graveside services will be 3:30PM Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Largo with Rabbi Akiva Mann, officiating.
