Obituary of Peter J. O'Hanlon

O'Hanlon- Peter J. 66 of St. Pete Beach passed away Tuesday January 3, 2006 at his home. Born in the Bronx, New York he came here in 1991 from South Hampton New York. He was a retired Lieutenant for the New York City Fire Department. He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, St. Pete Beach and the New York City Uniformed Fire Officers Association. Survivors include his wife of twelve years, Jeanne; three daughters Theresa Chambers of Monroe New York, Ann O'Hanlon Figueroa of New Orleans LA and Virginia O'Hanlon of Mohopac New York; a son Sean O'Hanlon of Austin Texas, a sister Mary O'Hanlon Devers of New York City; two step-daughters Kristine Karch of Milford PA and Virginia Hambrick of Chester New York; a step-son Brian Thomas of Monroe New York; 18 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, Central Avenue Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. A memorial gathering to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, January 28, 2005 from 12-2PM at the David C. Gross Funeral Home, where a service will take place at 2PM. The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd; clearwater FL 33760 or plant something at home or in your garden for all to enjoy.
