Obituary of Mary Furlong

FURLONG - Mary S., 77, of St. Petersburg, passed away Friday, January 6, 2006 at Hospice House Woodside in Pinellas Park. Born in Ludlow Falls, Ohio, she came to Florida in 1980 from Tipp City, Ohio. She was a cosmetologist and owned beauty salons in Troy and Piqua Ohio. She was a member of the American Legion Post #273, Madeira Beach. Survivors include her husband of fifty-nine years, William J., two sons, Anthony, of Seminole, Gregory, of Tipp City and Timothy of Dublin, Ohio; one sister, Lucille Schlosser of Sarasota; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, Central Avenue Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. Per the family's request, cremation services will be private.
