Obituary of Louis Tanney

Tanney- Louis 90 of Clearwater passed away Friday February 3, 2006 at Mease Hospital, Dunedin. He came here in 1975 from his native New York City. He was a retired police officer with the New York City Police Department, serving in the Bronx 42nd Precinct for 20 years. During World War II, he served in the Army Air Corp. Survivors include a son Lawrence of Oviedo, a daughter Nina Tanney Wennersten of Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. Graveside services will be 11AM Monday, February 6 2006 at the United Hebrew Cemetery, Staten Island New York.
