Obituary of Jose A. Valdes

Valdes- Jose A. 67 of St. Petersburg passed away Thursday, February 16, 2006 at Edward White Hospital. Born in Cuba, he came here in 1988 from Hartford Connecticut, where he was a sign manufacturer. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife of 42 years Carmen; two daughters Lourdes Benedict and Maria Collazo both of St. Petersburg; a brother Rafael Sanchez of Miami and five grandchildren, Daniel, Meghan, Mathew, Dylan and Marisa. David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, Central Avenue Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. A private funeral service will be Monday, February 20, 2006 with burial to follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clearwater, Florida. Service Information
