Obituary of Eugene Q. Rowe

ROWE, Eugene Q., 70 of Clearwater. Died Monday, March 6, 2006 at Bay Pines VA Healthcare System. Born in Mershon, Georgia, he came here in 2001 from Safety Harbor. He was an MP in the Army, serving in Okinawa from 1955 to 1957. He was a blood technician for Morton Plant Hospital. HE was an avid bowler and participated in various sports. He received several medals from the Senior Olympics and several softball trophies. Survivors include two brothers, Lewis W. Rowe, Mayfield, KY., David Gunter, Greenville, SC; many nieces and nephews. There will be no local services. Transfering to Waycross, Georgia for interment. David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, 6366 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg is serving the family.
