Obituary of John Thomas Shea

SHEA - John Thomas Sr., age 73, of St. Petersburg, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2006 at Egret Cove Center in St. Petersburg. He moved to Sarasota in 1936 from his native Dayton, Ohio and relocated to St. Petersburg in the 1940's. He was in the US Army. He worked as a salesman at Shea Boat Sales in St. Petersburg, a family owned business, for thirty years as well as at H.J. Heinz Company for nine years in food distribution sales and management. He was Catholic. Survivors include one son, John Shea of San Francisco, California; one sister, Mary Ross of St. Petersburg and one nephew, Ben. Per the family's request, there are no services at this time. David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, Central Avenue Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. Service Information
