I am so sorry for your loss. I remember "Red" when my parents Les and Lois Smith use to come in to fill up their gas tank. I remember "Red" always laughing and kidding around with my father. GOD BLESS!

I have many fond memories of Pop-Pop. I can still picture him sitting on our front porch with his old baseball glove in hand. He would oil that glove up all the time so we could have a baseball catch. Another fond memory of Pop-Pop was spending a week with him watching Spring Training in clearwater. We were so close to the players and I had a great time talking baseball with him. A funny memory of Pop-Pop was spending 2 hours at the salad bar at a Wendy's. I was done eating in five minutes. haha. Pop-Pop would come see Lauren and I play sports during the summer when we were growing up. Pop-Pop was always very supportive of Lauren and I whether it was in person or in spirit. Carla and I love you and we will miss you.

Some favorite memories of Pop-Pop include: his visits from Florida and hearing all of his stories from the past, looking at his many photos of his family, times at Buddlake, friends from the firehouse, the sandcastles that he built, watching the Yankees, and cheering me on at my athletic events. I will miss you Pop-Pop and I love you very much.
