Obituary of John Dominick Armstrong

Armstrong, John D., 85 of St. Petersburg. Died Sunday, April 2, 2006 at Palms of Pasadena Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he came here in 2005 from Seaside Park, New Jersey. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a teacher at Abington High School in New Jersey. Survivors include his wife, Lucile; two sons, John Armstrong, Irvington, NY., Michael Armstrong, Surf City, NJ; three daughters, Maureen Feite, Hatboro, PA., Karen Aylsworth, Malibu, CA., Ellen Scheidt, Seaside Park, NJ; four step daughters, Mary Lou Spellman, Toms River, NJ., Suzanne Nugent, Lake Como, NJ., Elizabeth Mackle, Toms River, NJ., Dawn Martelli, Alpharetta, GA; brother, Phillip Armstrong, Seaside Park, NJ; fifteen grandchildren; ten step grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren. There will be no local services. Interment will be in Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River, New Jersey. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, 6366 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg is serving the family.
