Obituary of Edward Amsel

AMSEL, Edward, 83 of Clearwater. Died Saturday, May 6, 2006 at Sylvan Health Care. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he came here in 1985 from Westport, Connecticut. He served in the Army. He owned a life and health insurance agency, with his wife, in New York City. He was a leading agent for 18 years and a life member of the million dollar round table. He was administrator of the voluntary Screen Actors Guild life insurance program. He was moderator of America Today at the Golda Meir/Kent Jewish Center in Clearwater. He was a member of the Belleair Country Club. He was a watch and clock collector and an avid gardener. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Rita; two daughters, Elaine Ball, Norwalk, CT., Alice Wilson, Derby, CT; brother, Irving Amsel, Maryland; two sisters, Roberta Navon, Amherst, MA., Gloria Thrasher, Washington, D.C; two grandchildren, Deborah Przewlocki, Amy Whicher; one great grandchild, Jordon Przewlocki. Graveside service will be 1 PM on Friday, May 26, 2006 in the Baron Hirsch Cemetery, Staten Island, New York. David C.
