Obituary of Hazel H. Shaw

SHAW - Hazel H., 94, of Seminole, died Sunday, May 7, 2006 at Freedom Square Nursing Center in Seminole. Born in Castanea, Pennsylvania and a graduate of Lock Haven Teachers College in Lock Haven, PA., she came to St. Petersburg in 1949 from Jersey Shore, PA and moved to Seminole in 1988. She was a member of Palm Lake Christian Church in St. Petersburg. Survivors include one daughter, Sara Brizzi of Pinellas Park; one son, Robert Shaw of Houston, Texas; one brother Roy Hanna of Southern Pines, North Carolina; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and twenty-four nieces and nephews including Les Hanna of St. Petersburg. Services will be private. David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, Central Avenue Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. The family suggests memorial donations in lieu of flowers be made to your favorite charity. Service Information
