Obituary of Gerald M. Poulin

Poulin- Gerald M."J.P" 74 of Clearwater, formerly of St. Petersburg passed away Friday, May 19, 2006 at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater. Born in Canada, he came here in 1956 from Vermont. He was the owner of Jerry's Gas and Appliances in Pinellas Park for 35 years. He was an avid Tampa Bay Buccaneer fan and season ticket holder for over 30 years, and enjoyed the Tampa Bay Lightning. He formerly coached a minor league hockey team at the Bayfront Center in St. Petersburg. Survivors include his wife of 28 years Elaine; two sons Maurice of St. Petersburg and Edward of Brooklyn; a daughter Claudia Gualtiere of Largo; four step-sons Joel Granata of Tampa, Jayme Granata and Jerry Granata both of Pinellas Park, and Joseph Granata of Clearwater; a step-daughter Kimberlee Lamb of Oldsmar; three brothers Raymonde Poulin Leroux of St. Johnsbury Vermont, Jean Poulin of Swanton Vermont and Marc Poulin of St. Johnsbury Vermont and four sisters Louisette Bolduci of Bristol CT, Gisele Poulin Lapiere of St. Johnsbury VT, Sister Suzanne Poulin CND of Norwalk CT and Huguette Biathrow of Largo; eight grandchildren Michael Gualtiere of Largo, Michelle Gualtiere of Largo, Jennifer Beale of Oldsmar, Joseph DeCresie of Holiday, Meaghan Granata of Pinellas Park, Gabrielle Granata of Clearwater, Sierra DeLisle of Clearwater and Joselynn Granat of Clearwater and one great-grandchild Makayla Malone of Oldsmar. David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, Central Avenue Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. Friends will be received at David C. Gross Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 24, 2006 from 6-8PM, where funeral services will be 2PM Thursday, May 25th with Father William Nicolaro, officiating.
