Obituary of Jack Landress

LANDRESS - Jack, 90, of Seminole, formerly of St. Petersburg, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2006 at the Residence Club at Seminole. Born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, he moved to Lake Worth in 1982 from Hicksville, New York, then to St. Petersburg in 2002 and recently to Seminole. He was in the US Army having served in WW II. He was a life long member of the Boy Scouts of America and was one of four Eagle Scouts present and representing the Boy Scouts of America at Franklin D. Roosevelt's first inauguration in March 1933. Survivors include two sons, Harvey of Madeira Beach, Florida and Mark of Houston, Texas; one sister, Eleanor Korenman of Lynbrook, New York and one grandson, Joshua Landress of Manhattan, New York. Graveside services will be 1:30 PM Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at Eternal Light Cemetery in Boynton Beach, Florida. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family.
