CANFIELD, Elizabeth Ellen, 77 of Gulfport, Florida passed awayJuly 4, 2006 in South Pasadena. Born Nov. 13, 1928 in Lansing,Went to be with her parents and brother and nephew after a long struggle with Lou Gerighs Disease, (ALS). A long time member of St. Lukes United Methodist Church, St. Petersburg, and American Legion Women's Auxiliary Post #125, Gulfport. Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years, S. Leon; daughter, Winnie (Keith) Thurston; 2 sons, Richard and Skip; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; loving sister and best friend Patricia Bishop; 3 brothers in law; a sister in law; several nieces and nephews and cousins. David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, Central Avenue Chapel is serving the family. Friends will be received at David C. Gross Funeral Home on Thursday, July 6, 2006 from 2-4 and 5-7PM. A graveside service will be 2PM Friday, July 7th at Woodlawn Memory Gardens, 101 58th Street South St. Petersburg with Rev. William Nicolaro officiating. Service Information
