Obituary of Sylvia Gerson

GERSON - Sylvia, 95, of Dunedin, passed away Monday, July 24, 2006 at Manor Care of Palm Harbor. Born in Poland, she moved to Bell Harbor, Florida in 1976 from Manhattan, New York and to Dunedin in 2004. She was a bookkeeper; a life member of the Women's Cancer League in Miami Beach, one of the founders of Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami, a member of the World Jewish Congress, a supporter of the Miami Jewish Home & Hospital for the Aged and active in the Miami Home for the Aged. Survivors include one son, Mark Radler of Ocean, New Jersey; one daughter, Judy Gimenez of Dunedin; one brother, Al Saul of Tucson, Arizona; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. All services will take place Thursday, July 27, 2006 in Union, New Jersey with interment to follow at B'nai Abraham Memorial Park. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family.
