Obituary of Joseph Paul Patton

PATTON - Joseph Paul, 93, of Palm Harbor, formerly of St. Petersburg, passed away Tuesday,September 5, 2006 at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor. Born in Newport, Rhode Island, he came to St. Petersburg in 1953 from Brookline, Massachusetts and moved to Palm Harbor in April 2006. He was in the US Army having served in WW II. He was a professional painter in the construction industry and painted the buildings at On Top of the World for over twenty years. He was a member of The Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle, St. Petersburg. Survivors include his son, Paul J. Patton of Dunedin and one nephew, William Tedesco of Trinity, Florida. Mr. Patton will be cremated and laid to rest next to his first wife, Rose, at Bay Pines National Cemetery in Bay Pines, Florida. David C.
