Obituary of Hyman R. Osheroff

Osheroff- Dr. Hyman R. 94 of Largo passed away Thursday, September 21, 2006 at Hospice House Woodside, Pinellas Park. Born in Omaha Nebraska, he came here from Freeport Illinois. He was a retired physician and was an Army Colonel and Commander of an Evacuation Hospital during World War II. He was a member of Temple Beth-El, Rockford Illinois. Survivors include his wife of 71 years Rebecca, three daughters Lynn Werner of Berkley California, Sharon Rothstein of Buffalo Grove IL and Susan Wolfe of London England; a sister Esther Bolker of Corvallis Washington; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. Graveside services will be 1:30PM Friday, September 22, 2006 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida, Rabbi Gabriel Ben-Or will officiate followed by full military honors. Service Information
