Obituary of Herbert A. Goff

GOFF - Dr. Herbert A., 81 of Gulfport passed away Saturday, October 21, 2006 at his residence. Born in Bayonne, New Jersey, he came here in 1971 from Westfield, New Jersey. He served in the US Army during WW II and was an osteopathic physician, having practiced thirty years in New Jersey and ten years locally. He was a member of Temple Beth-El; the American Osteopathic Hospital Association; was former Chief of Staff at Memorial General Hospital in Union, New Jersey; member of the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association; was a member of the Treasure Island Tennis and Yacht Club and the St. Petersburg Tennis Center at Bartlett Park. Survivors include his beloved wife of fifty-nine years, Harriet; loving son, Warren Goff, D.O., St. Petersburg and daughters, Nadine (Sidney) Pertnoy, Miami and Kyla (Paul) Yungst, Sarasota; devoted sister, Charlotte Krakower of Teaneck New Jersey and seven cherished grandchildren Matthew, Joshua, Samantha, Zachary, Michael, Jenny and Jeffrey. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. Funeral services will be 11AM Tuesday, October 24, 2006 in the David C. Gross Funeral Home Chapel with Rabbi Michael Torop, officiating.. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Largo. Shiva will be observed from the Goff residence in Gulfport.
