Obituary of Anatole Sokolsky

Sokolsky- Anatole 103 of St. Petersburg passed away Thursday, December 14, 2006 at his home. Born in Lithuania, he came here in 1971 from Tampa where he was a professor at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He was a member of St. Andrews Russian Orthodox Church, the Russian-American Club and the Congress of Russian Americans. Survivors include a son Pierre and a grandson Michael both of Salt Lake City Utah. David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, Central Avenue Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Monday, December 18 2006 at St. Andrews Russian Orthodox Church, 4668 15th Avenue South, St. Petersburg with Father Igor Chitikov, officiating. Burial will follow in Royal Palm Cemetery. Service Information
