Dear Myrna, Julie & Mark: My dearest Stanley was the first person to interview me during my wonderful years at Tasco. I will always remember that interview because he asked me the funniest and most interesting qustions about myself. He hired me on the spot as his assistant and I enjoyed every minute of my daily activities because of Stanley's wonderful personality. I looked forward to going to work every day and we accomplished a lot in a delightful atmosphere which is more than most people can say about their employer. I then moved on to assisting Ted Levine with whom I am still in touch...another wonderful, enjoyable educational experience with a fine fine person. All former Tasco personnel can thank the great Mr. Rosenfield for giving us a wonderful "family" atmosphere together...something that can never be duplicated due to the people involved. I will forever be grateful to all for our 22 years together, especially to Stanley who started it all. My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire family. Joyce Santolla 2/13/07

"Uncle Stanley", which most people called him whether they were family or not was soft, kind, super appreciative and very very funny. He always had a joke ready and couldn't wait to pull you aside and tell you. That was one of the ways he made you feel special, even though "everyone" got pulled aside! He gave us many gifts and memories for the rest of our lifetime, and his grandchildrens. What a lucky family we have! Michelle Myers

Myrna, Julie, Mark our family sympathy is with you all. I met Stan in July 1965 just after joining Tasco and found him to be an interesting and gentle person. Over the years we both traveled to shows and always roomed together. He made a great roomate. He would always get up first to use the bathroom allowing me to get an extra 20 to 30 minutes relaxing in bed. What a great guy. When it came time for dinner he always wanted to eat sushi and in New York some years ago while at the Toy Fair we had a great Japanese meal at the 52nd street sushi bar. (He knew that I had a Japanese wife and wanted a knowledgeable and experienced guide to enjoy the sushi). He really enjoyed that sushi and would always want to go back again. During the many years that we knew Stan, Myrna, Mark and Julie there were many family occassions when we gathered at our house and the most enjoyable food for Stan was Ted's famous beef and pork ribs. I promised Stan that when he got out of the hospital he would get to eat those ribs...well Stan you'll will get those ribs...but slightly delayed until I see you. The most personal condolences from Ted, Iseko and Pam. We will always love you Stan!

How can one explain the loss of a Brother / Super Close Friend? Stanley was one of the nicest, easiest going, friend to all, who knew him Through his years of pain and suffering he always had a smile. He possessed a continuous sense of humor and when asked how he was feeling his response was "peachy". The wonderful memories of this giant of a man will live in the minds and hearts of all who knew him. Rest well my Brother. Love Nyman Edward

I have known Stanley for over 50 years. I first met him when I was working summers in the warehouse at Tasco. It became clear to me, early on, that Stanley was an exceptional person. Although my contacts with him were infrequent, I found him to be a person that brought a "positive charge" to every situation he encountered. He always had kind words and a sweet smile for me, and had a knack for seeing the bright side of life. Stanley had a way of letting people know that he "got them" and loved them. I always felt recognized and special when I was with him. I will not be at the services, however my thoughts, prayers and love are with him and the rest of the family, during this difficult time. God Speed Stanley. You will be missed. Lovingly, Robert Levine

Dear Myrna, Julie, and Mark: My deepest condolences on the passing of your husband/dad, and my friend. I first met Stan at Tasco, and had the pleasure of working with him for over a decade. That relationship continued through our mutual involvement with Konus. He was a great joy to be around, and always had that special ability to make everyone around him smile. I have nothing but the greatest memories of being with him, and will hold on to the bond that we shared for the rest of my life. His life made a great difference in mine. Sincerely, Mark Shore
