Obituary of Paul F. Stonebrook

STONEBROOK - Paul F., 84, of Largo, formerly of St. Petersburg, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Bay Pines VA Health Care System in Bay Pines. Born in Sharon Center, Ohio, he came to Florida in 1956 from Canton Ohio and moved to Largo from St. Petersburg in 2003. He was in the US Army having served in WW II. Locally, he retired from Honeywell as a manufacturing supervisor in the tool and die division after twenty-five years of service. He was a member of the American Legion Post #305 and the D.A.V. Post #13, both of St. Pete Beach. He was a member of the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle in St. Petersburg and also attended St. Jerome Catholic Church in Largo. Survivors include his wife of sixty-four years, Dorothy; three sons; Paul Jr. of Killeen, Texas; David S. of Largo, Florida and Lee M. of Clinton, Iowa; two daughters; Teresa Drake of Grovetown, Georgia and Carol Lachance of St. Petersburg, Florida; one brother, Philip Stonebrook of Melbourne, Florida; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Stonebrook will be 1 PM Friday, March 23, 2007 at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle, Our Lady's Chapel, 58th Street and 5th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, with Fr. Wayne Genereux officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, 1st Avenue South & 58th Street, St. Petersburg. Friends will be received at the DAVID C. GROSS CENTRAL AVENUE CHAPEL Thursday, March 22, 2007 from 5-7 PM where a Wake service will be held at 6:30 PM. David C.
