Obituary of Ray B. London

LONDON, Dr. Ray B., 84 of Palm Harbor. Died Thursday, March 22, 2007 at Highland Pines Rehab & Nursing Center. He came here in 1956 from his native Lewisburg, Tennessee. He served in the Army during World War II. He had a dental practice in St. Petersburg for 20 years; then in Holiday for 20 years. He was a member of the American Dental Association. He was Past President of the Lakewood Country Club and past member of Countryside Country Club. He was Past Master of the Dilahunty Masonic Lodge in Lewisburg. He was a member of the Society for the Preservation of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America- St. Petersburg Chapter and was in a championship quartet that placed 16th in international competition. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Rochelle; daughter, Molly Ahlquist, Decatur, GA; four step children, Jack Bailey, Clearwater, Craig Bailey, Wesley Chapel, FL., Robin Bailey, Ottawa, Canada, Stacey Bailey, Asheville, NC; seven grandchildren. Graveside service will be 1 PM on Monday, March 26, 2007 at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Suite B, 9365 U.S. Hwy 19 N., Pinellas Park, FL. 33782. David C.
