Obituary of Meyer Possick

Possick- Meyer 94 of St. Petersburg passed away Friday March 23, 2007 at Hospice House Woodside, Pinellas Park. Born in Russia, he came here in 1939 from Boston MA. A retired residential builder and contractor, he and his late wife Sadie owned and operated Meyer's Construction in St. Petersburg. He also owned a grocery store and was a baker. He was a member of Congregation B'nai Israel, St. Petersburg and was a former member of Congregation Beth Sholom of Gulfport. He served in the Navy during World War II. Survivors include a son Charles of St. Petersburg, five grandchildren Sharon Possick Lange, Carol Melander, Deborah, Jenny and Joshua Possick, seven great-grandchildren and his caregiver Julia Wilmer. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. Funeral services will be 10AM Sunday, March 25, 2007 in the David C. Gross Funeral Home Chapel, Rabbi Jacob Luski and Hazzan David Sislen officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Largo. Memorial donations to Hospice of the Florida Suncoast in lieu of flowers would be appreciated. Service Information
