Obituary of Beatrice Savitsky

SAVITSKY - Beatrice, 86, of St. Petersburg, passed away at Bayfront Medical Center Sunday, May 6, 2007. Born in New York City, she moved to Florida in 1977 from New Brunswick, New Jersey where she was a bookkeeper for many years and also worked as a rabbi's personal secretary. She was a member of Deborah, in New Jersey, and Women's American O.R.T. She attended Temple Beth-El in St. Petersburg. Survivors include her husband of sixty-six years, Max I. Savitsky; her son, Dr. Lawrence B. (Georgine) Savitsky of Gulfport, Florida; her daughter, Sally Seichko (Ronald) of Largo, Florida; one brother, Jack Weiser (Eileen) of Lauderhill, Florida; four grandchildren; Katherine Wittner of Lutz, Florida, John Erik Savitsky of Seminole, Florida, Tina Smith of Apopka, Florida, Monica Rogers of Largo, Florida and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday, May 8, 2007 in the David C. Gross Funeral Home Chapel, with Rabbi Michael Torop officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Largo. The family suggests memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to Temple Beth-El, 400 Pasadena Avenue, St. Petersburg, 33707. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel is serving the family.
