Obituary of Leonard V. Cohen

Cohen- Leonard V. 75 of Largo passed away Thursday May 24, 2007 at Sun Coast Hospital, Largo. He came here in 1982 from his native Philadelphia PA. He was a retired social services case worker. He was member of the National Association of Retired Government Employees, the Pennsylvania Employees Association; Congregation Beth Shalom and its Mens Club of Clearwater; DAV Post #114 Largo; VFW Holiday Isles Post #4256 Madeira Beach and was a life member of Paul Surenky Post #409 Clearwater. He volunteered at the Golda Meir Center in Clearwater and at the Bay Pines VA Health Care System. Survivors include his wife Estelle; a daughter Sigrid Schonfelder of Munich Germany; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. Graveside services will be 10AM Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Largo with Rabbi David Weizman officiating. The family suggests memorials to Congregation Beth Shalom of Clearwater in memory of Leonard V. Cohen. Service Information
