Well I would just like to say that I loved my grandpa very much and he was always a good man. I remember as a child him always calling me monkey and champange. I don't remember alot of things from when I was a kid but that's one thing I do remember. As I got older and became a teenager me and grandpa didn't agree on the way I lived my life. He never downed me or said anything bad to me he just told me the truth and left it alone. As an adult I understand now what he was saying and I appreciate him even more now then ever for the things he said to me. After I had my daughter and I really grew up me and grandpa held a strong bond together and I will never forget that. He was and still is a very great man and I love him dearly. I will miss him everyday and I'm glad he's not suffering anymore cause I saw what it was like for him and it was almost unbearable. He is the best man that could have ever came into my life and everyone's life that he did. What a great man my grandpa was and he will be missed by everyone. I love you grandpa. I'll see you someday!!

My father, was my best friend in the whole world and I love him dearly and he will be missed tremendously by me! My father was such an honest and loyal and caring man. He taught me many wonderful things that are very important in life. He genuinely cared for everyone and always showed his appreciation to the people most would forget (like the people who worked at the front desk at hisapartment)He was a very very smart man, who without his knowledge I would lack many important things that I needed to know in life, about life and to live life. My father never judged me no matter what my choiches in life were, if I made badchoices he would tell me what he thought I should know and then move on. He showed me what unconditional love really was about, for he loved me unconditionally but whats more is I always always felt loved by him, in a manner that no one else could love me. Daddy I love you very very much and you will be missed more than you know. Thank you for being a wonderful father to me and giving me everything that you did! To me you were as wonderful a father as any father could be. Good-bye daddy, you shall always be with me and you will always be loved by me forever and always....Your loving Daughter Linda.

In brief, to clumsily paraphrase the author Phillip Roth in speaking of his own father Herman upon his death: "Herman Roth was an uncomplicated man who loved his children, and was perplexed by them." In remembering my father Louis Levy, I would add that Lou was an uncomplicated man who loved his children, his grandchildren and his extended family. And was humorously perplexed by them. I loved my father very much and will miss him dearly and remember him fondly. -Steven Levy
